The One With Ben's Birthday (Disaster)

i thought last night was quite wild, good and bad. well basically, it was Ben's birthday. we were suppose to go to Pizza Express for a meal. no one told me it was a fancy dress thing. i ranged Shins, she told me she and Ems are wearing something formal smart. said i should wear a dress or something. said the boys were going in suits. i wore a mermaid skirt and a classy black top borrowed from Shins.

Lauren, Little Bex, Ems, Shins and i had to take a bus coz there were no taxis at 7pm coz of Ramadhan. anyway when we arrived at Pizza Express, Ted commented "looking rather smart, Clauds. " took me like 10 minutes to realise the boys weren't dressed in suits like what Shins said.

they fucking played me out ! oooh how i hate them for this.

but it was all cool. i dont mind standing out if only my mermaid skirt wasn't so restricting.

basically, it was us girls, the boys, Ben's mate from home Ross, Ben's sister Emma, and Emma's mate Sophia. apparnetly it was also Emma's birthday.

had hearty dinner. bruschetta for starters and mushroom ravioli for mean course. everyone else had pizzas. had 2 bottles of wine shared among SHins, ems, Lauren and i. Stuart gave a rather heart wrenching speech. LOL no i was exaggerating. he did give a speech tho, and i thought it was sweet coz it's not like Stu to do such a thing.

bill came up to like 210quid among 18 of us.

went to Common Room where Shins and i had more wine. by then i did realize i was a bit woozy. then went to Swim Inn and like more people came and started drinking. Shins and i had another bottle of wine, and we both did 2 shots of raspberry Sambuca which tasted like Aftercshock which tasted like mouthwash which tasted rank ! !

one of the boys took a pint glass and started pouring a bit of everyone's drink in it to make a weird nasty looking concoction for the birthday boy. i had to be in the toilet to be sick or i know i'l never make it to Leadmill in one piece.

went next to Crystal. posh bar. felt better after throwing up. didn't stay long tho. Shins was already fucked as always. Ems, Lauren and Little Bex went home coz they had early classes the next day.

we were trying to get a 5 person cab with 6 of us which is absolutely ridiculous and almost fought with the cabbie. he was reluctant to even budge his car coz apparently it's a 1000quid fine. and demanded we pay 20quid deposit or something. i don't relaly know coz was wasted. we then got down.

BEn held the car handle to refuse to let the cabbie drive away. and that got him into trouble. the next cab we took, we were ore smooth. Ross, the 6th person crawled onto the floor of the cab while we climbed into it. it was quite funny at that time.

arrived at Leadmill. paid and went in. waited for Shins. she took like bloody ages to get in. i stood by the door and saw the bouncer coming. i thought she had no money and wanted to get in free or something so i reached into my bag to grab a fiver and the bouncer was taking her away and i was like "what the hell is going on?" shins said apparnetly she wasn't allowed in coz she was too drunk. it was such a disaster.

Ben and i had to go out and tried convincing the bouncer to let her in. Shins was already in tears. poor thing. but in the end, there was nothing we could do coz basically the bouncer was being such a dickhead.

i didn't htink SHins was that drunk tho but apparnetly people were saying she was slurring her speech and this morning, she couldn't recall most of what happened.

anyway i didn't have much fun in there as i thought i would. the music was alright but jsut didn't enjoy myself coz SHins wasn't there. Ben told me to take care of Emma. i tried to. dnced with her and stuff. the next minute, i saw her pulling Ross. and the next minute, Ben went ballistic.

everyone went out. i thought ben was literally gonna kill Ross. basiclaly, Ben is just relaly protective of everyone. like before, in clubs, i ws speaking to my guy mate and he came up to me and was like "clauds are u alright. if you're not, i can take the guy away" and i was like "relax Ben i know this bloke."

anyways, if Ben can be so protective over his mates, imagine him being protective with his sister !

it was retarded. i was surprised Shins was still around when we came out. then again, we didn't spend a lot of time inside Leadmill anyways. she did a public pee, standing up ! !  how rough is that ? LOL

anywya i think we spent like 30 minutes outside Leadmill whilst eveyrone else was trying to stop ben from Killing Ross, and stopping Ross from being killed. the police was there but went off a bit later. someone must have told them not to worry or something.

i don't know what happened next coz SHins and i and Amar and Mike took a cab home to the boys. we had a little party at Ali's room coz he was playing some music. everyone was so drunk it's amazing LOL and kinda funny in a way.

Shins was trying to lift up Ali's weights but it must have been like 20kgs or something coz she couldn't even get it off the ground an inch ! i tried and got it up but sort of like cut my hand and it started bleeding. so now the part between my index finger and thumb has got this nasty cut and i can't hold a pen.

anyway everyone else came back and made some chaos. Ross wanted to sleep in his car but for some reason i was trying to stop him saying it's uncivilised and all. but he insisted. i think he called his car ANdy ? i'm not sure. i asked him this morning and everyone started laughing.

it must have been about 4am when Shins and i went to bed. basiclaly coz TED was no where to be found, we decided to sleep on his double bed and raided thru his wardrobe for something to wear to sleep.

Ted rang me up at 5am saying he doens't know ehre he is, he is so lost and eveyrhting. if  i wasn't half asleep, i would have thought it was funny coz he sounded like he was on the verge of tears. i told him to get a cab and come back.

at 8am he rang me again to open the front door for him. he came in with Ali into his room, turned on his radio bloody loud and then went out. apparnely for his seminar. bloody headache.

at 10am, Ted rang me again to open the front door. again. "bed time", he said. so 3 of us slept in the bed for about another hour or something. i cn't remmeber.

then Stuart and Mike came in and 5 of us were just like huddle in one double bed. it was amazing how jumbled up we look. "whose hand is on my bum?"
"whose foot is poking my bum !"
"whose arms is this?"
was hilarious.

Shins and i stayed till about 3.00pm coz well, she didn't have the keys to the house (she gave it to emily last night) and no one was home. we hung out at the lounge with everyone else and it was quite cool. we were talking about what happened last night and stuff.

had to wear one of TED's shirt coz the one i wore last night was quite skimpy and it was too cold outside. surprisingly, Ted's shirt fitted me nicely. omg he's too skinny ! altho he did say that the top is quite tight on him.

went to Millenium for some chips coz the Fiery nor Northern Sole was opened. anything will do coz was absolutely starving.

The One Where We Went To Birmingham

i'm absolutely knackered. woke up this morning way too early when i slept way too late. i bet i had only like 3 hours of sleep or something. surprisingly, not grouchy. i think it's psychological coz in me i was excited about the Birmingham trip.

first went to Stratford-upon-Avon where it was the birthplace of Shakespear. went into the house which looked ancient in a modern way. right u see, Shakespear was born say, 1500's or something. the house did look old, but not 1500's. u know what i mean ?

strolled around the Avon River which is so stunning with the garden and the view.... breathtaking.

had some chocolate marshmallow which is sinfully delicious. was tempting Arielle a bit coz she can't take too sweet stuff or she'll faint. guess she's missing out the worlds greatest stuff then !

went to Brum after. had lunch at China town, in this Malaysian restaurant, which was not too bad but could do better. i wonder if the cook really are Malaysians.

then went to Bull Ring, the new shopping centre or something. us girls headed straight to Mango. i bought this coral V neck sweater. and had to make a detour to Ann SUmmers alone. i'm not gonna say what i bought. if u know what an Ann Summers is, then u could prolly take a wild shot. if not, don't bother guessing.

i reckon the travelling to and fro takes up a lot of time coz we hardly had any time to do shopping but it's alright coz it was only Mango i was after. the rest can be found in Meadowhall.

The One Where We Had To Pay To Enter Corp

get this right, how retarded is this. basically, we arrived at COrp last night at about 1145 all dressed up in our school gear.

i thought it was weird that the bouncers weren't giving out those free passes to enter Corp. i thought maybe it was a change of rule or something. went up to the counter. told to pay !

excuse me !

apparnetly coz it was pass 11.30pm so we had to pay. how pony is that ! !

we were all drunk even before going to Corp coz we had a lot to drink at home and because i was kinda sick, so was not feeling very strong.

we were at the balcony area, the lounge area where people can sit and drink and me being my drunken self, went up to Charlotte and told her "i dunno if it's this booth or that booth (point to booth next to us) that i gave Glasto a blowjob". her reaction was priceless. she was halfway standing up in disgust  but when i mention "or that booth" she sat down again. soon, like literally in a minute, all the girls knew about it too.

woke up this morning with no hangover. hallelujah !

The One Where I Bumped Into X Factor Contestant

Remember i was telling you the other day while i was at Frouk, this guy looked like the X Factor contestant ? well i was at the union this afternoon and i saw him coming out of it....

ok so i guess he's a Sheffield student and not some X Factor contestant.

The One Where I Thought He Was The X Factor Contestant

basically, went to Frouk last night with Julia, Tim (her boyfriend who came down from Malaysia) and Sui May. was some Breast Cancer event so most of us were dressed in pink and those who did got like a free pink champagne which tasted like soot and poo !

oh anyways, it was not too bad (tho prefer going there with ALicia). they left pretty early so i was left alone. not entirely coz i found some of my guy friends who totally abused the hell out of me.

i thought i saw this X Factor COncestant, Michael is his name i think, at Frouk. well he really did look like him so i'm not too sure. he was black and had cornrows (i dunno if it's me but most black people with cornrows look a bit alike....) and not too bad looking either.

then i thought.... "nah don't think so coz if he was the contestant, he had to go to the X Factor studio tomorrow to sing..."

then i thought .... "yet... he still look like him.. could it or could it not be ?"

ming boggling.

anyway i went to the loo and came back and there were like these 2 guys who came up to me and said "it's my mate's 21st birthday (points to this CHinese guy who looked beyond wasted) and he fancies you. could u take a picture with him?" i thought that was rather random tho coz normally Asians do not apraoch me. they'd rather go to Arielle, but i guess coz Arielle wasn't there so........

well i was nice and took a picture and found out later that the Chinese guy was infact from Hong Kong and when he spoke to me, didn't sound as drunk as he looked. i was as sober as  ajudge so i can tell. spoke to Hong Kong guy's mates as well and one of themintroduced himself as Karim and i was like "Are u muslim?"

Karim : yeh
Me: what, are u from Malaysia or something ?
Karim : Shit, how did u know....? i'm from Penang.

talk about a small world. but i think Karim's more like someone who was borned in malaysia and stayed in England all his life. they invited me back to their place for like a party or something which i kindly denied.

The One With Jayne's Bday Dinner

HAPPY BIRTHDAY J-HO ! ! !

basically, after my gym session, about 4pm, i went over to the girls' and some of htem were like preparing for Jayne's arrival. she and VIcky had gone off for an OTC weekend and the girls are planning a surprise return. SHins and i bought a pair of GHDs yesterday as Jayne's present.

well we didn't get to finish the decoration when Jayne came back so we had to tell her and Vicky to go to Broomhill for a bit while we rushed to finidh the decorations. basically, we did a big "Happy Birthday Jayne" banner and stuck it on the front door with tassles and stuff and it was really cute with all the balloons.

EMs and SHins were cooking Sunday Roast which smelled so delicious by the way.

SO Jayne came back and everyone was throwing poppers and everything and the house soon became a mess LOL. she loved the GHD (well she asked for it anyway) and i think she nearly cried ? well coz her parents and siblings also sent her cards and presents so it must have been emotional for her =)

anyway, went back home, and later came back to the house again for dinns which tasted as good as it smelt. basiclaly they cooked like 2 whole chickens, roast potatos, brocolli and cauliflower, carrots, yorkshire pudding and just really delicious stuff. oh there was even a cake baked ! how awesome is that !

after dinner, we sat down to discuss some plans. basically, we were planning on going to Pop Tart this coming Saturday, dressed up. so we were just brainstorming what we could dress up as. had so many weird ideas like Pipi Longstocking, Princess Leia, and the not so weird and doable ideas such as cops, robbers, indians, Barbie (in which i chipped in saying there isn't an Asian Barbie). but i think in the end, we narrowed down to chav and cheerleaders. not that i could go to Pop Tart this Saturday coz i'll be in Brum for a Massoc trip.
